IDYLLS OF THE KING

Created for a group show about protest artwork, this banner features lines from a Tennyson poem of the same name, which is about King Arthur's life and times. From his funeral barge, King Arthur comforts Sir Bedivere with this quote, implying that even thought the Knights of the Rounds Table was a noble insitution, it should die with the King because any institution which lives on and doesn't change with the culture will only become irrelevant and thus harmful to society.

As always, this banner was completely hand-sewn and hand-painted by me.
